Long-time Broncos scout, Greg Miller, most recently player personnel director with the Omaha Nighthawks of the United Football League, passed away Thursday in his Grand Island, Neb. home.
For the Broncos, Miller scouted the Great Plains for talent from 1997-2010. He was part of the first line of evaluation, rating and computer-generated reporting on hundreds of college players, as well as assisting in the planning and execution of the National Invitational Camp (NFL’s Scouting Combine).
“It’s important for Bronco fans to know that Greg loved your team, loved being a part of it, and loved representing the Denver Broncos as a college scout,” former Broncos General Manager Ted Sundquist said.
Greg Miller died at age 57.
