Buffaloes coach Tad Boyle picks his starting five

The University of Colorado Buffaloes men’s basketball team has a lot of hype this season.

And now, head coach Tad Boyle believes he has the five men that will deliver just what the fans are looking for; Askia Booker, Sabatino Chen, André Roberson, Josh Scott and Spencer Dinwiddie.

Boyle talked with Mile High Sports radio hosts Irv Brown and Joe Williams Friday on The Irv and Joe Show about the upcoming season and when asked who his five starters would be if he had to make the decision today, Boyle quickly replied.

6-foot-1 sophomore guard Askia Booker out of Los Angeles.

Newcomer and 6-4 senior guard Sabatino Chen, who is a recent transfer from the University of Denver.

Junior 6-7 forward André Roberson out of San Antonio, Texas, who could be one of the nation’s best.

6-6 sophomore guard Spencer Dinwiddie from Woodland Hills, Calif.

And freshman, 6-10 forward Josh Scott will be making his debut as a Buff. He’s from Monument, Colo as he played high school ball at Lewis-Palmer.

The Buffs have their season home opener against Wofford College on Friday, Nov. 9 in Boulder.
