Pete Kontodiakos lone CSU All-MWC selection
Dec. 4, 2012 // By Zach Fogg
Perhaps practice makes perfect.
Colorado State punter Pete Kontodiakos was named first team all Mountain West Conference on Tuesday.
In a season where CSU’s offense ranked 102nd in the country, it could very well be said that Kontodiakos was the best weapon for the 4-8 Rams in 2012.
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound senior punter averaged 46.5 yards on 59 punts this season, posting a long of 73.
Fresno State led the Mountain West with seven first-team selections.
