Denver Cutthroats goaltender Kent Patterson was honored by the CHL as its third star for the month of December. The rookie netminder posted a 6-1-1 record in December with a 1.85 GAA.
Patterson has been a consistent presence between the pipes during the Cutthroats inaugural season. His 10-5-1 overall record has helped Denver hang close to the top of the league, trailing the league-leading Allen Americans by only five points.
The Cutthroats have just begun a 12-game road trip that will have them playing away from the Denver Coliseum for the entire month of January. Patterson’s play at the goaltender position will be crucial in order for the Cutthroats to fight for the CHL title.
