The week before Broncos players are scheduled to report to Dove Valley for the offseason training program, Peyton Manning got a head start with some of his receivers.
Demaryius Thomas, Eric Decker and Wes Welker all traveled to Duke’s campus to get run routes and catch passes from the Broncos starting quarterback. Missing amongst the group was Andre Caldwell, who signed with the team as a free agent last season. Caldwell expressed his frustrations through his Twitter account Friday.

Prior to the start of the 2012 season, Manning was photographed throwing with several of his receivers at local high schools. He opted for Duke this week due to his familiarity with Blue Devils head coach David Cutcliffe.
Thomas and Decker had banner years with Manning at quarterback and the addition of Welker makes the trio one of the most dangerous receiver corps in the league.
Caldwell played in only eight games for the Broncos, catching one pass for 18 yards.
