I’ve seen the the sports media world evolve immensely over the past decade, and I believe our new projects are at the forefront of the new wave in how sports media will be consumed in the future. Here are the details:
Press Box LIVE from The Denver Post:
Beginning August 5th, the Press Box Show will be broadcasted from the our new studios at Denver Post headquarters. From 7A-9A (Monday through Friday), the Press Box LIVE will be a 2 hour radio/TV show that will air on AM 1510 | FM 93.7 and also on DenverPost.com.
With over 6,000,000+ monthly visitors, DenverPost.com is one of the biggest websites in the region. As technology has evolved, so has the way people consume their media. The Press Box Live will be live streamed on the DenverPost.com each morning live from 7A-9A. The audience size that the site brings in unique visitors is almost 10x larger than any Denver major network television station in the market.
The Press Box Live show will enhance the content and coverage that The Denver Post brings each day to both their print & online products, while giving sports fans a way to both listen and view the show each day.
The Press Box Live show will have full interaction tools that included Twitter/Facebook and live show chat integration.
Press Box TV Show – K3/KCDO:
Launching July 15th, The Press Box TV Show will be a 30 minute free-form sports talk show each night on K3/KCDO. Unscripted and unfiltered, The Press Box TV Show on K3 will fit a unique niche developing in many markets. Right now, sports fans only get 3-4 minutes of sports coverage on traditional Denver network news at 10p or they receive national programming that rarely covers Denver sports in depth.
I’ve been frustrated that local network continues to cut their sports coverage each year, rarely getting into the opinion/analysis that local sportscasters should give us and also frustrated when I turn on ESPN or any other national TV show and I can’t get the local/regional news/analysis that I want.
The Press Box TV Show will provide Denver sports fans with 30 minutes of the latest opinions & analysis on Denver sports topics that no other station has the freedom to provide. More importantly, as the Press Box is not affiliated with any teams/networks, viewers will get an unfiltered view of every major Denver sports story.
Press Box TV Show:
2 new TV shows, 2 unique niches launching right before the most anticipated football seasons in the history of Denver sports.
To launch both shows, there is a coordinated marketing effort/plan of over $250,000+ of media advertising/promotion.
The combined reach of the partnerships with Mile High Sports/K3/Denver Post will make the Press Box Show the one of the largest local based sports talk shows in the United States.
