In the 30 days leading up to the start of Denver Broncos Training Camp 2016, we’re examining 30 big questions for the season. We’ll make a case for each answer; you’ll vote and tell Broncos Country what’s going to happen this year.

The 2016 offseason has so far been marked by the departure of several key free agents, notably Malik Jackson, Danny Trevathan and Brock Osweiler.

Instead of taking the reins of the team that taught him how to be a pro, Osweiler chose to leave the Broncos in the dust, heading to Houston – who just happens to be on Denver’s schedule this year.

What will happen when Osweiler leads his Texans into Denver on Monday, Oct. 24? The game could go a few different ways…

Scenario 1: Even after the chaotic offseason, the Broncos still boast one of the best defenses in the league. It will be extremely difficult for Osweiler to come into a hostile Mile High Stadium and get a win – especially against the same people that bailed him and the offense out numerous times last season. Osweiler has been hearing it from Broncos fans since he decided to leave in March, and he won’t hear the end of it until this Week 7 matchup. The Broncos defense knows Osweiler better than anyone. A freshly signed Von Miller and the rest of the Broncos front seven have their way with Osweiler and the Texans offensive line. It will be over before it starts and the Broncos win big.

Scenario 2: Osweiler lives up the hype surrounding him in Houston. He leads the Texans into Denver with the sole objective of embarrassing John Elway for not offering him the money that he has since proved he deserved. The Texans have plenty of players to help Osweiler get the job done. Three-time Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt wreaks havoc on the newly assembled Broncos offensive line and just like Antonio Brown gave the Broncos a headache in the previous season, wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins provides similar problems for the “No Fly Zone” in this matchup with an extra incentive on the line. The Broncos get blown out and Elway winds up with egg on his face.

Scenario 3: Just like they did so many times last season, the Broncos find themselves down late in the game and just like last season they find a way to get the job done with very little time remaining. This time Osweiler will be on the other side of things. Osweiler is trying to move the ball downfield in an attempt to prove John Elway and Gary Kubiak wrong and falls victim to a game ending strip sack.

Scenario 4: All that good luck the Broncos had in their run to Super Bowl 50 has run out. No more last-minute fumble recoveries for touchdowns, pick-sixes to seal it, or 40-plus-yard touchdown runs to pull out a miracle finish. Instead, it’s Brock and the Texans who have luck on their side and scrap out a last-second win on Monday night.

Which of the four scenarios do think will happen? Will the Broncos buck Brock or will he make Denver pay for not paying in the offseason?
