Missy Franklin grabs most of the headlines, and rightfully so given her performance in London in 2012, but she’s not the only swimmer representing Colorado in Rio. In fact, Missy’s not the only Regis Jesuit Raider who will be in the pool for the Red, White and Blue.

Fellow 2013 Regis grad Clark Smith swims Tuesday in the 4x200m freestyle relay, hoping to deliver a follow-up gold medal to the four his 4x100m freestyle relay teammates (including Michael Phelps) grabbed on Sunday. The 4x200m FR is the only race Smith will be swimming in Rio; he qualified for the 2016 Olympic Team with a sixth-place finish in the 200m free at Olympic Trials.

It’s an ideal distance for the 21-year-old who claimed the 2015 NCAA championship in the 500y free for Texas. Currently holds the American record for the 1000y free, as well. With Missy out of the 200m free individual finals, give Clark your support on Tuesday night.
