The Colorado Rockies, in collaboration with Major League Baseball, announced their 2017 season schedule on Wednesday and the schedulers were kind to the Rockies promotions department.

Colorado will play home games on Mother’s Day (May 14 vs. Los Angeles Dodgers), Memorial Day (May 29 vs. Seattle), Father’s Day (June 18 vs. San Francisco), Independence Day (July 4 vs. Cincinnati) and Labor Day (Sept. 4 vs. San Francisco).

The Rockies will open the season on the road in Milwaukee on April 3. It is the third time in five years Colorado will open the season on the road against the Brewers and the sixth year in a row the Rockies have started the season on the road. Colorado’s last true Opening Day home game came against Arizona in 2011.

The Rockies home opener will be Friday, April 7 at 2:10 p.m against the Dodgers and will conclude the regular season against those same Dodgers on Sunday, Oct. 1.

Colorado will play 18 games against division foes in the month of April. The longest homestand of the year, 10 games in 10 days, will follow shortly thereafter, May 5 – 14.

This year’s All-Star Break will be from July 10-13.

The Rockies interleague schedule has them playing all five American League Central teams for the first time since 2014, along with the AL West’s Seattle Mariners. Colorado will host the Seattle Mariners (May 29-30), Cleveland Indians (June 6-7), Chicago White Sox (July 7-9) and Detroit Tigers (Aug. 28-30) at Coors Field.
