The University of Colorado men’s basketball’s own Derrick White was one of 67 players invited to this year’s NBA Combine. The combine will take place May 9-14 at the Qwest Center in Chicago.

White was by far the best player on a team that underachieved greatly last season. An All-American transfer from Division II University of Colorado Colorado Springs, White averaged 18.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game in his lone season with the Buffaloes. White is an athletic guard with exceptional defensive skills and can score from anywhere on the floor.

White is the only player from a Colorado school to merit an invitation to this year’s event.
