On Monday, DeMarcus Ware signed with the Dallas Cowboys. The contract is ceremonial, allowing him to retire as a member of the organization with which he spent his first nine seasons in the NFL.

“This has always been home to me,” Ware said on Monday. “Where you start at, it’s where you want to finish. For me, coming back here was a big deal. So many great memories here. It was great in Denver, too. But it’s great to finish here.”

At the press conference held by the Dallas Cowboys, Ware confirmed that the team was one of the one’s that expressed an interest in signing him in free agency. He also said he is open to teaching/coaching the Cowboys’ current pass rushers.
