The Denver Broncos are in a rut, and it certainly doesn’t help that they’re losing contributors by the week to injury.

First it was DeMarcus Ware. Then it was C.J. Anderson. After that it was Aqib Talib. And now it’s Derek Wolfe. Who’s next?

That’s a good question, because there aren’t many names left. In fact, in Wednesday’s practice report there were 15 names listed — 15!

Luckily, Chris Harris and Russell Okung should be good to go, as they were out for non-injury-related reasons, as should T.J. Ward who was sick. Likewise, Matt Paradis‘ absence from practice has become a weekly tradition, and he’s yet to miss a game.

And barring a setback, it would be a surprise if any of the “full” participants missed Sunday’s game.

Conversely, we already know Wolfe will be out for awhile with a fractured elbow.

So that leaves Talib, Brandon Marshall and Kayvon Webster as the major question marks for Week 10. Let’s hope they can get on the field against the Saints. With that New Orleans offense, the Broncos are going to need all the help they can get.
