The Denver Outlaws have made some decisions after hosting their second week of training in New York. Following their trip back to Denver, they announced their official 25-man roster for the 2017 MLL season on Monday.

While out east, head coach B.J. O’Hara’s squad played an exhibition game against the New York Lizards.

The Outlaws will be returning 17 players from the 2016 championship winning squad, as well as eight players from the 2014 championship team. Amongst that list are offensive stars: Jeremy Sieverts, Drew Snider, Eric Law, Wes Berg and Mike Bocklet.

On the other side of the ball, Denver will bring back MLL All-Stars Matt Bocklet and Michael Simon, with MLL’s 2016 Cascade Rookie of the Year net minder Jack Kelly backing them.

There will be several new players to the roster this year, including rookies Ryan Ambler, Mike Hernandez and Eddy Glazener.

The Denver Outlaws are set to have their first game away, against the Charlotte Hounds on Saturday, April 22. Yet, the Front Range team will return to elevation to face off against the Hounds again, in order to host their home-opener on Sunday, May 7:30 p.m. MT.
