Garrett Grayson is headed to New Orleans to become Drew Brees’ understudy. The Saints made Grayson the 3rd quarterback taken in the 2015 NFL draft with the 75th overall pick. During his 4 years at Colorado State Grayson threw for 9190 yards, 64 touchdowns while completing 61.8% of his passes.

Despite his stellar senior season leading the Rams to a 10-3 record and being named Mountain West offensive player of the year Grayson is viewed as a long-term project. With that being the case Grayson couldn’t have asked for a better place to land. Brees and Saints head coach Sean Payton are the perfect combo for the former Rams development.
