Nikola Jokic posted his fifth consecutive double-double and the Denver Nuggets won their fourth game in five with a 123-98 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday night. Jokic scored a game-high 19 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to extend his streak.

Three other Nuggets contributed 18 points apiece – Danilo Gallinari, Will Barton and Wilson Chandler. Jameer Nelson had eight of Denver’s 30 assists in the win.

Los Angeles were without two of their key playmakers; Chris Paul (thumb) and Blake Griffin (knee) were both on the bench. DeAndre Jordan had 14 points and 13 rebounds in the loss.

The Nuggets have a short turnaround after the win. They are in Minnesota for a 5 p.m. tipoff on Sunday.
