Kenneth Faried will miss Friday’s game for the birth of his second child

When Kenneth Faried didn’t miss a game after he was taken off the court on a stretcher, I didn’t think anything could stop the Manimal from playing basketball. According to reports, though, Faried will be out Friday night versus the Memphis Grizzlies.

Personal reasons? In today’s day and age, that could mean just about anything.

Luckily, in this case, it’s for the best reason of all.

The #Nuggets will be without forward Kenneth Faried tonight vs. Memphis. He is expecting the birth of his second child.
