Injuries are a part of football, but that doesn’t make it any less frustrating.

We learned this week that C.J. Anderson is set to be out for the foreseeable future following surgery on his meniscus, but he’s not the only Denver Bronco facing injury concerns. In fact, one look at the Denver Broncos Week 8 injury report and it’s clear the team is facing an uphill battle to have all their starters out on the field against the Chargers.

Anderson’s a already no-go, and DeMarcus Ware‘s upgrade to questionable is actually a good sign, but seeing Brandon Marshall, Matt Paradis and Aqib Talib listed as questionable is concerning, to say the least.

Marshall is the heart of the Denver defense, and there may not be a cornerback in the NFL playing better than Talib — unless his name is Chris Harris Jr. And you can make the case that Paradis has been the most-consistent, effective player on the Denver Broncos offense.

Missing just one of them would be a major blow; missing two or three could be a critical strike.

Let’s hope all three can push through their ailments on Sunday. There’s no doubt the Denver Broncos need them.
