With their only pick in the fourth round, the Denver Broncos selected Devontae Booker out of Utah, drawing unanimous praise across Broncos Country.
Booker was ranked as CBS Sports third-overall running back in the NFL draft (62nd overall), and was projected to go in the second round. The fact that Denver grabbed him at the backend of Round 4 is the definition of value.
Of course, with the re-signings of C.J. Anderson and Ronnie Hillman, this makes the Broncos’ backfield a little crowded, but you can never have too many weapons for your young quarterback.
