Though his time in Denver was short, the Mile High City and the Denver Broncos certainly left an impression on running back Justin Forsett.

“Just a great city, a great organization,” Forsett told Eric Goodman and Les Shapiro on Mile High Sports Radio. “I really, really, thoroughly enjoyed my time there.  Its’ definitely up there, if not the best, then one of the top organizations that I’ve been a part of.”

Though he thoroughly enjoyed the most recent stop in his NFL career, the 31-year-old Forsett has begun to consider hanging up his cleats.

“I’ve been thinking about it these last couple of weeks and I’ll spend some more time thinking about it, but it’s definitely an option,” he said. “We’ll see what doors are open.”

Forsett split the last season between the Baltimore Ravens, Detroit Lions and the Broncos. Though he looked like he could still play with Denver, living out of a suitcase took its toll.

“I’ve been playing nine years now,” he said. “This last season was a little bit of a roller coaster, traveling from city to city, so I’m still deciding what we want to do as a family. If a good option comes up with football, we’ll pray about it, think it over and see what’s best, but I’m thinking family first right now.”
