Let’s face it. Sunday’s game against the Colts was an absolute disaster. Even if it is “just one game,” this one’s going to sting for awhile, especially because it was our defense that let us down.
After one of the most impressive performances in Broncos history, the “Orange Crush” looked more like the “Orange Flush” — yeah, I went there. They were flat, they looked unmotivated and, most importantly, they were undisciplined.
That’s not the Broncos defense I’ve come to know and love, and it’s not the defense they’ve come to expect from themselves, either. But right now, instead of getting down and feeling sorry for themselves, the Denver Broncos defense is getting angry.
I’d hate to be the Chiefs …
The Broncos defense will be looking for blood when the Chiefs come into town next Sunday.
