Raise your hand if you were awake for Uwe Krupp’s Stanley Cup clinching goal in 1996. I definitely was, as I suspect most Avalanche fans were.

At the time it was the latest Stanley Cup clinching goal in NHL history. And, it was scored by the most improbable guy. Krupp missed basically all of the regular season, playing in only the final six games.

It’s a goal that no Avs fan will forget and is one of the greatest ever scored in franchise history. Without further ado here it is… bask in the glory.
