How quickly things change.

In the span of two years, Trevor Siemian has gone from little-known college quarterback to borderline draft prospect to seventh-round pick to third-string quarterback to starter on the defending champions to, well, AFC Offensive Player of the Week.

That’s quite the career arc.

Behind a 300-yard, four-touchdown performance, Siemian and the Broncos handled the Bengals easily in Cincy.

Coming into the season, coming into last week, if you had told any Broncos fan that they were going to have a quarterback worthy of weekly honors, they probably would have asked you, “Who’d they trade for?”

If Siemian keeps developing at the accelerated pace that he is, there could be something special brewing in Denver.
