On 3rd-and-15, Brock Osweiler found Demaryius Thomas in the middle of the field, but he was a few yards short of the first down marker.

Not to worry, folks. Thomas rumbled the extra two yards for a big conversion that would lead to a Brandon McManus field goal.

Thomas left the game after the play, nursing his left shoulder, but quickly returned to finish the drive. Talk about a tough dude.

It looks as though Thomas has all but forgotten the worst performance of his career against the New England Patriots two weeks ago, where he managed only one grab on 13 targets.

With a few minutes left in the third quarter, Thomas was the Broncos leading receiver, with eight catches for 81 yards.
