2017 Accomplishments: State championship? Check. World championship? Check. Schultz did both in 2017, claiming a gold medal at the Cadet World tournament in September.
What’s in store for 2018: Last week, Schultz won his third-straight high school wrestling title. Now that the championship is his, it’s anyone’s guess as to what he is capable of on a global scale.
On continuing the hunt to be a four-time state champ: “It’s something I’ve always wanted to do since I was a kid watching at Pepsi Center. It’s always been one of my goals.”
