2017 Accomplishments: Two state relay titles. Two individual state titles. She was just one standout on a dominant Fossil Ridge team that cruised to a Class 5A overall team crown.
What’s in store for 2018: Fossil Ridge won the state title once again and Alons placed top three in almost every event. She heads to N.C. State this fall.
What makes this year so much fun: “What makes it fun is that it’s our senior year and we get to build on what we had last year as a team. We have pretty much everyone we had last year, and it’s going to be special because we have such a big 2018 class.”
