The Denver Broncos will have to wait another day or two to see high-profile prospect Baker Mayfield, as he is attending to a family matter in Austin, Texas, as reported by Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

Mayfield, who will be coached by Broncos head coach Vance Joseph and his staff, is expected to be a first-round pick in this spring’s draft, and may be a fit for the Broncos, who requested that Mayfield be added to their team. This year’s Heisman Trophy winner, Mayfield threw for 131 touchdowns and only 30 interceptions in his career at Oklahoma.

Joseph’s North team is scheduled to hold their first practice session tomorrow at 3:30 PM ET and per reports, the Oklahoma quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner is expected to be in attendance.
