On the second day of training camp for the Denver Broncos, quarterback Case Keenum connected on multiple deep passes to wow the assembled crowd at the UC Health Training Center in Englewood.

Don’t tell coach Vance Joseph that his new quarterback has a “good arm, however.”

“That’s not right. He has a great arm,” Joseph explained. “He’s always been a pure passer, since college [at the University of Houston]. I was with Case in Houston; his accuracy’s always been good, and his arm strength is good for a guy that’s not so big.”

“He’s a pure passer.”

Joseph also talked about the competition that he expects at the tight end position, and how having a crowd at practice helps simulate game day for his players.
