With the final preseason game out of the way, it’s time for NFL teams to make their final roster cuts.

The Denver Broncos have plenty of question marks, but one of them may have solidified his roster spot last night. River Cracraft has spent the preseason fighting for the job as the starting punt returner and a depth receiver spot.

Cracraft spoke with Ronnie Kohrt of Mile High Sports AM 1340 | FM 104.7 after the game to discuss his performance.

“I thought I played well,” Cracraft said. “I was given a big opportunity, I got some passes, I got one return. I’m very comfortable with how it came out.”

Cracraft was targeted six times on offense and caught all six for 42 yards, to go along with a 15-yard punt return.

“It’s awesome. I feel like I haven’t been in this role since college,” Cracraft said. “It feels real(ly) nice, it feels like I belong there.”

Cracraft figures to make the roster mainly as a returner but could also be an asset offensively. He had eight receptions this preseason for 50 yards.
