The Broncos will hold joint practices with the San Francisco 49ers Wednesday, Aug. 26, and Thursday, Aug. 27, in advance of their preseason game on Aug. 29, the team announced Thursday.

Denver has previously hosted the Houston Texans (2014) and the Dallas Cowboys (2008) for joint practices.

The 2014 visit by the Texans produced some memorable moments, including a heated exchange between J.J. Watt and Chris Clark and a boisterous celebration by Texans safety D.J. Swearinger after intercepting Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning during 11-on-11 drills.

Unfortunately, the practices with the 49ers will only be open to credentialed media so fans will have to wait for reports in the event of any fireworks this year.

With the 49ers projected to finish near the bottom of the NFC in 2015, most Broncos fans will simply be hoping that their team stays healthy over these two practices.
