If you look up consistency in the dictionary, there is just a picture of Chris Harris Jr. locking down an opposing wide receiver.

The eighth-year cornerback has been a key piece in Denver’s secondary since breaking into the league as an undrafted free agent out of Kansas University.

And despite often being overshadowed by household names like Patrick Peterson, Richard Sherman and Aqib Talib, Harris has been one of the best cover cornerbacks in the NFL for half a decade. After picking off Philip Rivers Sunday, Harris has the numbers to prove it.

Harris is the only player in the NFL with multiple interceptions in each of the last seven NFL seasons. And with 18 interceptions in a Broncos uniform, Harris only needs three interceptions to move into the top-10 in franchise history.

Interceptions with the Denver Broncos:

  1. Steve Foley (44)
  2. Goose Gonsoulin (43)
  3. Bill Thompson (40)
  4. Champ Bailey (34)
  5. Tyrone Braxton (34)
  6. Mike Harden (33)
  7. Dennis Smith (30)
  8. Louis Wright (26)
  9. Steve Atwater (24)
  10. Randy Gradishar (20)
  11. Tom Jackson (20)
  12. Chris Harris Jr. (18)
