In the second quarter of Sunday’s game at Cincinnati, cornerback Chris Harris Jr. fractured his fibula according to Mike Klis of 9NEWS.

The injury will sideline the veteran defensive back for the foreseeable future, but according to Klis, the Broncos may decide not to place Harris on Injured Reserve. Considering the Broncos already released Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones on Nov. 20, it will be interesting to see what the front office decides to do.

In 11 games this season, Harris has three interceptions, 10 pass deflections and 48 combined tackles. In his eight-year career, the former Kansas Jayhawk has 19 interceptions, 80 pass deflections and is widely considered one of the better lockdown corners in the NFL.
