This past Thursday, Buffs fans said a sad goodbye to senior Josh Scott after the final game of his collegiate career against UConn.

No. 40 has been a dedicated player and an inspiration to watch on the court, leading the team in scoring and rebounds. Averaging 16.3 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game, Scott will be truly missed by his coaches, his teammates and his fans.

In a recent tweet, the 6-foot-10 forward showed his pride for the team he has spent the last four years with:

With his innumerable accomplishments and collegiate career rankings, the CU fans are the proud ones. Scott has had an extremely successful career, helping the Buffs make it to the NCAA tournament for the fourth time in five years. Though the Buffs didn’t make it past game one this season, Scott produced an impressive final game, with 23 points and 11 rebounds.

His performance on the court and his character off of it will be missed. Coach Tad Boyle has been dreading Scott’s graduation day, and though the time has come, he will be remembered and appreciated by all that cheer for black and gold.

No, thank you!
