Last week, DeMarcus Ware was named the AFC Defensive Player of the Month for September. This week, his teammate, T.J. Ward, picked up the AFC Defensive Player of the Week award. Not a bad stretch for the Denver defense.
Well, Ware has just added another award for Ward and his fellow defenders to chase.

No, those hot pink cleats from the tweet above don’t belong to Ware – you’ll have to check out the NFL’s story to find out who they belong to – but it’s just crazy that the Broncos defensive captain keeps picking up awards, even silly ones like this.
Ware probably won’t put a trophy (if there even is one for third place cleats) on his mantle, but he can add this to a list of accolades from the 2015 season that continues to grow.
And kudos to Ware for rocking pink accented cleats during October, the NFL’s designated month to raise awareness for breast cancer.
