Emmanuel Mudiay could be the answer to the Nugget’s playoff problems.

Still, that doesn’t mean that those problems will be solved any time soon.

Andrew Feinstein, who started the Denver Stiffs blog, joined Danny Williams and Marcello Romano on Morning Mayhem (weekdays 7a-9a, Mile High Sports AM 1340) and advocated for a mantra of delayed-gratification over a win-now approach as the Nuggets continue rebuilding the organization.

“There’s not going to be a championship parade down Speer Boulevard anytime soon,” Feinstein said, and pointed to the most recent NBA Champion as a model. “You’re better off building intelligently and incrementally like the Warriors did.”

It all starts with Emmanuel Mudiay, the 19-year-old who the Nuggets chose with the seventh overall pick in the draft. Combine Mudiay with another lottery pick, and the Nuggets could be off to the races, Feinstein said.
