Denver Sports Betting is here to breakdown tonight’s action on the court in Dallas. The Denver Nuggets will battle against the Mavericks tonight with tip-off set for 5:30 p.m. MST.

The Denver Nuggets have matched their best start in franchise history through 36 games at 25-11.

During the 2018-19 season, the Nuggets were also 25-11 by this point. This year doesn’t feel as glorious as last season, but the Nuggets are the 2nd seed in the Western Conference standings.

With the emergence of Nikola Jokic, and coach Michael Malone consolidating the lineup, the Nuggets are hitting their stride. The Nuggets now have another chance to showcase their talent on national television against the Mavericks.

Dallas has a record of 23-13, holding down the 6th seed in the Western Conference. The Mavs have been struggling recently, going just 5-5 in their last 10 games.

MVP candidate Luka Doncic has changed the culture of the Mavericks, leading them to a stellar start to the season. Doncic will need additional help from his supporting cast as Kristaps Porzingas has been ruled out with knee soreness. This is the fifth straight game Porzingas has missed.

Nuggets forward Will Barton III has also been ruled out of this game due to personal reasons. The absence of Barton will open up playing time for Nuggets’ star rookie Michael Porter Jr.

The Nuggets have underachieved on most of their national television appearances, and victory against the Mavericks could help vault Denver back into the championship conversation.

Dallas initially opened as -1.5 point favorites, but that number has since spiked to -3. 53% of public bets ATS are coming in on the Mavericks.

The Over/Under total opened at 217.5 but has spiked to 220.5 despite the injuries to both teams. A whopping 81% of bets are funneling towards the over.

Denver has not fared well ATS this season, posting a 15-18-3 record. Dallas has a winning record of 19-16-1 ATS this season.

The two teams have hit the over a combined 40 times this season. The total has gone over in eight of the Nuggets’ last 10 games.

Given the absence of Barton, the Nuggets will lean on Porter Jr. to pick up the slack, so be on the lookout for the rookie sensation. On the flip side, Doncic is sure to put up a fight even without his Porzingizs. Expect a high-scoring, competitive game tonight.
