Joakim Noah

Age: 31 years old     Size: 6-foot-11, 232 pounds

Career Stats: 9.3 points; 9.4 rebounds; 1.4 blocks per game

2015-16 stats: 4.3 points; 8.8 rebounds; 1.0 block per game

Joakim Noah finds himself in an unknown situation. With the Chicago Bulls in a heavy transition period, the aging and versatile center may find himself not being offered a contract by the team he has spent all of his nine seasons with, being that he is an unrestricted free agent this offseason. The big question is if he is still serviceable and for what price.

Noah could be a really nice bench big man who can run the floor, rebound relentlessly, play fundamentally sound defense on the perimeter and in the post, and use his gifted vision to add another playmaker on the floor. His jump shot seems to have left him, as did the athletic ability he once possessed, but he could still contribute more than most backup centers in the league.

While Noah does fit what the Nuggets are trying to accomplish, and the price may be right, the odds of the Nuggets signing Joakim Noah seems pretty low. They have arguably too many frontcourt players already. Unless Connelly decides to trade either Lauvergne or Nurkic, I do not expect the Nuggets to sign any centers in free agency.
