Frustration is only natural in tough situations, and the Broncos’ frustration with their ineptitude on offense has led to a change at quarterback — and the team is hopeful that will create a spark.
James Palmer of the NFL Network joined Eric Goodman and Les Shapiro on Afternoon Drive to discuss the Broncos’ frustrations with their offense.
“I think it’s only natural to be frustrated as a defensive player,” said Palmer. “There is frustration there. Chris Harris said to me — flat-out — I said, what do you do? He said, ‘we’ve got to score points. You don’t win games if you don’t score points.'”
The Broncos hope to start scoring with Brock Osweiler at the helm, who suggested in his first press conference as the starter that the frustration coming from the defense is actually a good thing.
“I love that the defense is frustrated,” Osweiler noted. “If you look at it from our perspective, it’s a great thing, because it means they care… to me, I think it’s a great sign that they’re not complacent and ignoring the fact of what we’ve done the past couple of weeks.”
