The Nuggets returned to the win column with a 120-114 victory in Phoenix on Sunday afternoon. Denver hung on to a big first half lead, spurred by outscoring the Suns by 19 in the second quarter.

Wilson Chandler (25) and Jameer Nelson (21) each eclipsed the 20-point mark to lead Denver. Nikola Jokic added a double-double from the bench. Denver led by 20 at the break.

Devin Booker and the Suns did not roll over, though, outscoring Denver in both the third and fourth quarters. Booker had 30 points and Eric Bledsoe led all scorers with 35. Chandler would not let the game slip away, though, locking down on defense down the stretch.

Denver returns home on Wednesday to host the Heat.
