Reports surfaced a few weeks ago that the Broncos and Emmanuel Sanders had cut off contract negotiations for a long-term extension, but according to John Elway, they’re back on.

Sanders was reportedly asking for upwards of $12 million a season, which would make him one of the 10 highest-paid wideouts in the NFL.

He’s performed up to that level over the last two seasons, hauling in 177 passes for 2,539 yards and 15 touchdowns, but we’ll see if John Elway gives him the money — he’s been known to play hardball in the past.
