Kenneth Faried will not participate in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, per Christopher Dempsey of The Denver Post.
Faried was a finalist for the team; however, did not make the final cut.

Faried was a member of 2014 U.S. FIBA World Cup team.
This has to be a dagger for the Manimal as a lot of the top talent has decided not to play in the Olympics due to concern of the Zika virus, meaning this was the perfect opportunity for Faried to elevate his name into the national spotlight.
The roster will be made official Monday.
