Sunday afternoon against the Los Angeles Chargers, Denver Broncos linebacker and quarterback sack artist Von Miller passed Karl Mecklenburg for second all-time on the Broncos career sack list.

Miller, came into Sunday with 78.5 sacks, now only trails former Broncos great Simon Fletcher (97.5) for most sacks in team history.

Miller sacked Philip Rivers once more in the 21-0 loss. The five-time pro bowler finished with five tackles and the two sacks, moving him 17 sacks away from tying the franchise record. Miller recorded a sack in his fifth consecutive game, marking the 7th time in his career he’s held a five game or more sack streak.
