Colorado State head football coach Mike Bobo announced today the addition of Daniel Bush as director of player personnel. Bush has spent the last seven years working in the personnel and recruiting departments at Arkansas and Alabama.

Most recently, Bush served as the director of personnel and the assistant director of recruiting at Arkansas. Bush started at Arkansas in April of 2014. His duties included prospect identification and evaluation, maintaining NCAA compliance and managing team interns, students and other part-time staff. Bush also assisted in marketing efforts for the program.

Prior to his stint with the Razorbacks, Bush was a football operations and recruiting specialist at Alabama from 2011-14. The Crimson Tide won the national championship in 2011 and 2012, and Bush helped the program land the nation’s No. 1 recruiting classes in 2012 and 2013. Bush had a direct role in recruiting several future star players, including Derrick Henry, Ar’Darius Stewart, Cyrus Jones and Ryan Anderson.

Bush graduated from Alabama in 2011 with both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and later earned his M.B.A. from Alabama in 2014.
