The Mile High Sports IKEA Spring Games, held annually at IKEA Centennial, is a great way for high school teams to build camaraderie and an opportunity for them to walk away with cash prizes to use for uniforms, equipment, etc. Now, it’s become a way to get national attention.

Fortune magazine recently named IKEA U.S. on its list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For, coming it at No. 63 on the annual ranking (March 15, 2016).

The article features a picture from the 2015 games and highlighted the company’s values of “humbleness, willpower, simplicity, togetherness and enthusiasm.” Values we think correlate directly with successful athletes and sports teams at any level.

Applications are currently open for the 2016 games. Click here to apply. You might find yourself in Fortune magazine! (We can all but guarantee you’ll end up in Mile High Sports Magazine.)
