As the Denver Broncos prepare for the Chicago Bears they will be without two starters on defense once again, linebacker Todd Davis and cornerback Bryce Callahan. Wide receiver Juwann Winfree has been reportedly named inactive for the game Sunday.

Davis was trending upwards during the week, however ultimately, Denver is without Davis who continues to heal from the calf injury that’s kept him out since day one of training camp. Josey Jewell and Corey Nelson are likely to play a part at linebacker for the Broncos.

Callahan was listed as questionable in Denver’s final injury report with a foot injury, but Denver will once again be without their starting cornerback. Denver will likely lean on Isaac Yiadom as depth once again plays their part for Broncos on defense again.

Per Mike Klis of 9News, Denver will activate rookie Dre’Mont Jones, Denver’s third-round pick in the 2019 draft looking to add more pass rush against Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. The Broncos are also putting Mike Purcell as inactive Sunday. Meanwhile, River Cracraft on offense is active.
