Now that the Denver Nuggets preseason schedule has been announced, the countdown until the Nuggets tip off for the 2019-20 NBA season can begin.

In 79 days, the Nuggets will play the first of their four preseason games with three of them being hosted away from the Pepsi Center.

First, the Nuggets will kick off the 2019-20 season by taking on the Portland Trail Blazers at Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum on October 10th in Portland. That game will tip off at 8:00pm MDT, but will not be televised by Altitude. Additionally, it seems like Michael Porter Jr. is on pace to make his NBA debut in Denver’s first preseason game of the season. Porter missed all of last season and Summer League each of the past two years due to his second back surgery and then a MCL sprain in his knee.

The second game of the preseason will be on the 10th of October at 8:00pm MDT on the road against the Los Angeles Clippers. The game also will not be televised by Altitude. Despite Altitude not carrying the game, the odds are high that it ends up being a nationally-televised event because it is likely to be the Staples Center debut for both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.

The third game of the preseason will be against the new-look Phoenix Suns and will be played at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix. That game will also tip off at 8:00pm MDT on October 14. It will also be the first televised preseason game of the year on Altitude.

Lastly, the Nuggets will play their only home game during the preseason against the Trail Blazers at 7:00pm MDT on October 17th. It will be Denver’s second preseason game against Portland of the year and their final tune-up before the regular season.

All four games will air live on Altitude Sports Radio.
