The Denver Broncos have found success taking chances on young, local homegrown talent lately with Mike Purcell, Phillip Lindsay finding success, but one of the most impressive has been Dalton Risner.

Risner out of Wiggin’s, CO immediately was plugged into Denver’s offensive line at the guard position upon his second-round selection in the NFL Draft and never looked back.

The rookie started all sixteen games and became the anchor to a shaky offensive line. But Dalton’s football story routes back to family as he appears on the cover of February issue of Mile High Sports Magazine.

Risner joined Ronnie Kohrt for a special edition of the Broncos Blitz podcast.

Risner discusses his deep connection with family and football and how growing up in the lifestyle that he did made him a better player. Risner also discusses life outside of football and the name of his cow ‘Beyonce’ who also made it onto the cover of Mile High Sports Magazine, out on stands now.
