The legendary U.S. Mile, the nation’s largest promoter of unique speed events, hosts the second annual Colorado Mile this Labor Day weekend. The top speed racing exhibition will take place at Front Range Airport in Watkins, Colo., Sep. 2-4.

Race Central host Kurt Hansen, synonymous with all forms of local, national and international Motor Sports, will be hosting the groundbreaking race day “Live To Tape” national TV shoot for air on Race Central’s national and global media outlets. Hansen is expecting many excited “gearhead” fans to come out and see all the bikes and cars and bring your favorite car or bike and compete in this year’s soon to be “classic”.

The U.S. Mile, parent to the Colorado Mile, Texas Mile and Arkansas Mile, have selected national award-winning radio and TV host of Race Central Television to anchor its global and cutting-edge free “over air” cable, satellite TV and streaming broadcast on www.racecentralmedia.com

In addition to broadcasting the event, Hansen will also compete in his pristine Swift Formula Atlantic DB-4 along with teammates Mike Pettiford of Go 4 It Racing and Allen Samuel of Machine Gun Tours. The trio will attempt to break the elusive 200 mph barrier on the one-mile drag strip.
