After their devastating 48-10 loss to Florida on Saturday, the Colorado State Rams desperately need a bounce-back performance against Illinois State this weekend.
Of course, it’s Ag Day and that brings the big-time Bar-B-Que, the orange out and the pumpkin and alfalfa jerseys. They’re the best jersey combination the Rams have, and they’re really good luck, as CSU has gone 8-0 all-time on Ag Day in those jerseys.
That’s what makes this game a must-win. Or, at least, partly.
It’s also a key game to earn a victory because Colorado State needs to go into the bye on a high note, and moving back up to 2-3 would bring them closer to .500 on the season just in time for that bye.
