The Denver Broncos are expected to sign 34-year-old cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones, Ian Rapoport reported Sunday afternoon. The two-time Pro Bowler worked out with the Broncos Sunday and is expected to sign with them today.

As a member of the Cincinnati Bengals the last nine seasons, Jones turned around his career after legal troubles early in his NFL tenure. In his last five seasons, Jones has 11 interceptions and 49 pass breakups.
Jones will reunite with Broncos head coach Vance Joseph, who served as the Bengals’ defensive backs coach in 2014 and 2015, both of Jones’ Pro Bowl seasons. While competing for a job in Denver’s secondary, Jones could also play a role in the return game. He has five career punt return touchdowns, though most of those came early in his career.
The Bengals declined Jones’ option in March to end his eight-year tenure with the team. Though he worked out with the Browns in training camp, the two sides did not reach a deal. Jones figures to play most as a nickel back alongside Chris Harris and Bradley Roby.
