Before the ballgame rained out on Monday, former Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning stopped by Coors Field, visiting with both the Colorado Rockies and Chicago Cubs.

On Tuesday, when the first game of the three-game series was actually played, another retired NFL player was spotted at the stadium. Former wide receiver Steve Smith posted a photo from the stands on Twitter.

Smith praised Rockies first baseman Mark Reynolds, who hit a home run in his fourth-straight game. The 33-year-old is off to a torrid start this season. Smith knows a little about producing after the age of 30. Now 37, he played through last season. He posted at least 500 receiving yards in the final 12 seasons of his career.

No word as to why Smith was at a Rockies game. A former Baltimore Raven, perhaps he just likes purple.
